Toastmaster awarded Miss World NSW

Wagga Toastmaster Rachel Rees has been awarded the honour of the Miss World NSW 2009 title.

Rachel won the NSW Miss World Title and also collected the Beauty with a Purpose award for her charity and community work. She will now contest the Miss World Australia titles in early April.
 
"I can see Rachel getting a few Table Topic questions before then to sharpen up her impromptu speaking at the titles," commented Area Governor Colin Davis.
 
"We are all so proud of her and wish her well."

Rachel believes her Toastmaster experience helped her in her goal towards Miss World saying, "I would love to share my story in the hope to inspire others to join Toastmasters. I feel I gained so much confidence from Toastmasters and it would be wonderful if others can gain as much as I have."
