Wagga Wagga Toastmasters meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month from 6:50 to 9:00 pm at the the premises of the Wagga Citizens Centre, 204 Tarcutta Street, Wagga Wagga.

Wagga Wagga Toastmasters draws its members from Wagga Wagga City and nearby regional towns.

There are four other Clubs in the Riverina, including Albury, Thurgoona, Tumut and Griffith.

These clubs make up ‘Area 34’.

Communication and Leadership Skills

Wagga Wagga Toastmasters is transforming peoples’ lives by providing a positive and friendly environment in which to develop public speaking and leadership skills. We can give you the skills and confidence to effectively express yourself in any situation.

You work through a proven speaking and leadership program at your own pace, which is sure to develop your confidence. The environment is friendly and supportive, and the self-paced program allows you to build confidence with each speaking assignment. The program is backed up with continuous feedback through constructive evaluation.

Toastmasters International programs are a fun learning experience and we enjoy a variety of programs that are entertaining and experiential for participants and onlookers alike.

The Toastmasters Mission

The mission of our Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn fosters self-confidence and personal growth.

Education Communication & Leadership Program

Each member has the opportunity to achieve his or her educational goals. You can arrange for your speeches to be evaluated. Records will be kept for you so you can see how you are progressing including your:

  • Speech Status – indicates which speeches you completed and the date of your last speech, and
  • Job Matrix – a record of which assignment you undertook at each meeting.

The opportunity for you to action your communication and leadership goals can also be provided by participating in activities during a meeting. To be involved in these activities, a list of tasks is normally circulated during a meeting containing the Draft Agenda for the following two meetings.
